Dang folks. Dang. In just under 2 weeks, the denizens of the interwebs have turned that silly little video into a veritable juggernaut. It now stands at over 100,000 views, whilst its little brother is nearing 8,000. Pretty ridiculous for a video that I only posted for my close friends who visit here on a regular basis…now I guess that circle of close friends includes the 4,000+ visitors this blog has gotten over the past week or so. Ridiculous. Oh and did I mention that The Renewed Mind got picked up by another channel/show on Youtube? No? Here it is.
I never thought I’d be able to say that I have any connection to Seth MacFarlane, but now I do. And it’s rather fitting that we actually have no connection whatsoever other than some random show that’s filled with nothing but references to pop culture. It’s like a meta-cake of deliciousness.
At any rate, it’s been a fun little ride, but it’s time to get back to the business at hand. Namely, skewering the weirdness of every day life and looking at what sweet music, film and TV is headed our way. Thanks for joining the journey of awesome.
This is amazing! Soon this will be bigger than the otters holding hands thing. Oh yeah, I didn’t read all of the comments, but how is it that almost every YouTube comment discussion always degenerates into Nazis? And how did AIDs come up? Who are these people? Oh, wait they’re your readers. Never mind.
Dude, congrats on getting picked up as the new “what’s hot on YouTube!!” I thought it was hilarious that the video was so funny that all she could do was laugh when it cut back to her.
Justin – Yes, it’s true. My readers are brazen in their name calling and non sequiturs. Oh and their complete lack of logic. That’s just how we roll here at the House.

I found the vid posted by a couple different friends on Facebook, and something in similar vein on RelevantMag.com, and posted them both on my blog.
Christian circles are smaaaaallll (a.k.a. it’s a network, a web, really. You could call it… an inter-web, or a web-o-sphere).
Anyway, that’s my take on why it’s gone viral.
